[request-sponsor] contribution request status change

2007-11-27 Thread Bonnie Corwin
Hi Madhav,

I moved your request for a sponsor for 6578404 to the section of the
table titled "Accounted for By Means Other Than Putback" because I was
told on 11/16/07 that the bug was closed as 'not a bug'.

I apologize for the confusion, and I hope you will continue to offer
contributions.

For people on this alias: please remind your teams that when they change
the status of a bug marked with the 'oss-request' keyword, they need to
send email to this alias so people know about the status change.

Thank you.

Bonnie

Please check the table at
http://opensolaris.org/os/bug_reports/request_sponsor before deciding
which bug you want to work on.

A contribution for 6291460 has already been offered by a contributor.
It is #7 under Awaiting Sponsor. It's been awaiting a sponsor since
February.

Hi Frank and Ashish,
I did intend to fix that one myself, but got swamped
with working the bugs that my day job needed fixing.

Ashish - if you're interested, please go ahead and
work on the changes required.

should combine with a lot of other misspellings, some of which are noted in

6566789 more source files misspell "relevant"

which, when it just mentioned 'relevant', I accepted on behalf of John
Sonneschein, but then updated with a lot more potential misspellings at
eschrock's ... urging ...

Hmm, James McPherson fixed this one:

6291454 speeling of pseudo is rong inside ON

a few years back - could be that it's an oversight 6291460 is still open.
cc:'ing James, he should be able to help you there.

[request-sponsor] Contribution to opensolaris

2005-11-14 Thread coutur...@esme.fr
Hi,

This year there was a project at ESME Sudria which was the development of a
wireless driver for Intel Solaris 10.
This driver supports Ralinktech's chipset 802.11b/g RT2500
(http://www.ralinktech.com).

We would like to provide our source code to SUN using your sponsoring process.
Please send us explanations about how to send you sources, how to modify them
in order to make them CDDL compliant. Please send us the Contributor Agreement
with the fax number associated.

Do not hesitate to ask us details about the driver's features.
Best regards,

Joel Couturier
Couturier at esme.fr

PS : Please send a copy of your answer to Jacques Truchet from SUN
(jacques.truchet at sun.com).
