So only local candidates or those who are willing to go for an in person interview in Madison, WI Job Description: This request is for development staff to provide applications development and support for various CARES-related mainframe and web applications associated with TANF (W-2) and child care. Data is entered via mainframe IMS/DC or web .Net, stored in DB2, and made available to end-users via IMS/DC or .Net screens, EOS reports, and Business Objects data mart reports. Project duties will be to work as part of a team to maintain and enhance applications using mainframe and web tools and techniques. The person in this position will act as a lead analyst, working directly with customers to define requirements and design, code, test, and implement applications changes and enhancements and new applications. The person in this position will also be responsible for the maintaining the IVA/IVD (CARES/KIDS) batch interface programs. Project duties will also include implementation activities such as testing and quality assurance, and development of user documentation, training materials, and help screens. Preference will be given to qualified candidates with business knowledge of Wisconsin's W-2 and child care programs, knowledge of the IVA/IVD interface, prior experience with the CARES system, and familiarity with State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and development standards.
