Network Extranet Engineer

Provide technical design and deployment capabilities for the Global Network
Extranet Engineering area specializing in Firewall, IDS, and VPN based
delivery systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong working
knowledge of network firewall, IDS, routers, switches, and preferable the
F5 load balancer platform suite (LTM/GTM). They must have a strong desire
to drive the availability of the firewall and IDS systems and support all
types of delivery services.

An ability to work effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment
across the global enterprise is a must.

The candidate will need to support and troubleshoot application and
infrastructure problems while dealing with data center class application
delivery and business continuity plans for the global enterprise.

Additionally, the candidate will provide secondary Network Extranet
services working with peers in the support of all extranet services
(Firewall, Network Load Balancers, IP Services, Network Authentication, and
direct Internet access connectivity)

5+ years’ experience with design, deployment, and troubleshooting Firewall,
IDS, and VPN services (Cisco ASA, Juniper)

4+ years design and deployment experience with Cisco Routers and Switches

2+ years design and deployment experience with F5 LTM, GTM is a plus Web
services and network management tools experience a plus Network related
certifications a plus (CCNA, CCNP, F5 BIG-IP Admin)

Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work with
internal and mixed technology virtual teams
