Review Board 1.5.5 released

2011-03-28 Thread Christian Hammond
Hi everyone,

Review Board 1.5.5 is out, and contains a variety of good bug fixes, plus a
fix for a major installation problem caused by a new release to one of our
dependencies, python-dateutil.

If you tried to install Review Board for the first time on a system in the
past couple of days and hit strange crashes, you should find and remove your
python_dateutil directory and upgrade Review Board.

For more information on the release, see

Is the dependency on python-dateutil == 1.5 strict, or is is possible to
use older versions with ReviewBoard 1.5.5?

I've been using python-dateutil 1.2 with ReviewBoard 1.5.4 on Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 5 for quite a while now.

Hi Stephen,

We can't really say "> some version && < 2.0" so I went with the latest
stable. The setup script requires that version, but Review Board itself
doesn't care (though I assume of course that there are bug fixes in 1.5, but
I doubt we're really impacted by them).
