For a while now I've had trouble accessing the mailing list thru:

http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.java.rife.user

About 50% of the time I try, it doesn't work. However this does work:

http://www.mail-archive.com/rife-users@uwyn.com/

Also, I've been receiving the messages in email without interruption.

One day last weekend I couldn't access rifers.org at all, but the next
day
it was up again so I figured it was a temporary problem and didn't say
anything.

getNamedInputBean()

does not allow to specify a prefix. SO:

Who can i access the "inbean1" in the sample.Destination code? with

The prefix will be automatically taken from your bean declaration.
That's one of the main benefits to named beans, so that you keep
their declaration centralized.

Hope this helps,

[Rife-users] [Rife-user] Named benas in datalinks

2006-06-30 Thread Andrés González

Hi.

In one of my elements i define a "submission" and an "inputbean":

Rife complains:

com.uwyn.rife.engine.exceptions.ParameterInputConflictException: The
parameter 'estado' in submission 'alta' of element 'altaUsuario.xml'
conflicts with an existing global input.

I guess the reason is both apigweb.Usuario and apigweb.Licencia have
some fields with the same name ("estado" and others)

I've been trying the prefixes of the named beans but can't get it right...

In http://rifers.org/wiki/display/RIFE/Named+beans+in+datalinks i see:

I guess the prefix allows avoid that collision (although i wonder why
two fields from distinct beans "collide"). The method

setOutputBean()

can take a second parameter with the prefix, but the method

getNamedInputBean()

does not allow to specify a prefix. SO:

Who can i access the "inbean1" in the sample.Destination code? with
getNamedInputBean("inbean1")? and the prefix?

Thanks.

Ok, what probably happened is that you somewhere catch Exception or
RuntimeException and then log it. Before, this will have you catch
the internal RIFE exceptions, like ExitException. I changed those to
all be Errors instead of RuntimeExceptions. This should reduce the
likeliness that someone catches them by accident.

Hi Andrés,

I added the capability to RIFE to print out full stack traces for the
lightweight exceptions. You need to download the latest snapshot:
http://rifers.org/downloads/rife/snapshots/rife-1.5M3-snapshot-20060630

To turn this behavior on, set the USE_FAST_EXCEPTIONS configuration
parameter to 'true'.

I'm interested in getting a copy of this stack trace.

Best regards,

Geert

The exception is thrown whet i execute

It is normal for the stacktrace to be empty since we enforce that for
performance improvements. What isn't normal though is that this
exception bubbled up. Is this something that recently started to
