My quick fix was to use a USB to CF Card adapter with a 16GB CF card that had been deemed too small for DSLR use. I had forgotten about it until reading this thread. The probe should work with almost any USB storage device within probe power deliver limits. - James R. Not to mention corruption from power failure during writes. Opinion: If the device/system/operation is at all important, use of a UPS is effectively mandatory. James R.
