We are now well past the end of the call for consensus and I have seen only
support for the proposal.

I conclude that we now have reached consensus.

A licencing agreement for reusing BCP10 text is in place.

The documents will now be published as RIPE documents, and we can start the
process.

Based on our experience using the process and future IETF experience,
the community may revise the document after the first selection has been
made.

Dear all,

I also support the current proposed documents and am happy that they are
modelled on existing working processes from communities with which RIPE has a
good affinity.

I donā€™t see any.

There have been questions around details of the IETF process, such as the
recent questions of whether the NomCom Chairā€™s (or even its prior chair)
primary affiliation count against the limit on the number of members sharing
primary affiliation in the noncom, but I have no idea how likely that is to
happen in practice and would suggest that we observe how the deliberations at
the IETF progress while we at RIPE get our own instance of process established
and executed.

I support the architecture of the process and the gist and spirit of
the documents. The community should be able to fill the two initial
positions well by implementing the described procedures.

The approach to stick very closely to the text of RFC 7437 leads to some
ambiguities that the initial NomCom might want to seek to resolve.
Any such attempt will benefit significantly from experience with the IETF's
NomCom procedure - and practice.
