Re: [RDD] Traffic log import failure

try moving lengthsec to 8 2

01:31 30 07 Fisher House
01:31 30 13 Wildfire Prevention

I'm using the following settings in RDadmin under Manage Services

  Offset Length
Cart Num 166
Title2525
Start Hr 0 2
start Min 3 2
start sec 0 0
length hr 0 0
length min 0 0
length sec 8 0
contract # 0 0
Ecent ID 0 0
Annc Type 0 0

I click Test Traffic and if the file is where I say it is it doesn't
throw the error (I ran into that problem earlier) but it leaves the
import table blank and I get a similar problem in RDLogManger where it
just wipes out all the placeholders in the log for traffic and acts
like it successfully imported my traffic log but it actually didnt' do
anything. Almost as if it were seeing my file but ignoring all the data.

[RDD] Traffic log import failure

2014-05-04 Thread Matthew Chambers
Here's what my traffic log looks like

00:01 30 05 Fair Housing
01:01 30 03 Buzzed Driving
01:16 30 01 Adopt US Kids 30
01:16 30 09 Got Your 6
01:31 30 07 Fisher House
01:31 30 13 Wildfire Prevention

I'm using the following settings in RDadmin under Manage Services

  Offset Length
Cart Num 166
Title2525
Start Hr 0 2
start Min 3 2
start sec 0 0
length hr 0 0
length min 0 0
length sec 8 0
contract # 0 0
Ecent ID 0 0
Annc Type 0 0

I click Test Traffic and if the file is where I say it is it doesn't throw
the error (I ran into that problem earlier) but it leaves the import table
blank and I get a similar problem in RDLogManger where it just wipes out
all the placeholders in the log for traffic and acts like it successfully
imported my traffic log but it actually didnt' do anything. Almost as if it
were seeing my file but ignoring all the data.

No, that skips the backtimer...

I've changes the PN 1 macro to a simple marker with a make next
funktion. That works... :) Thanks for your suggestion

That won't work.

First it looks good, it jumps to the make next macro and waits. But @
s45 it skips the following backtimer and starts the news from line in
direct.;)

Now i'm testing it with two backtimer. One @ make next :00. The second @
45 hard start. :)

This is a well known characteristic.
These drives are fine for storing pictures, word documents,
anything for applications that can easily accommodate several seconds
for the drive to spin up every time data is needed.
 ( most windows applications )

These green drives are not fine for anything with
historically reasonable access time time outs.
( but they are comparatively cheap, and endorsed by tree-huggers )
