Which US-122 do you have? Is it the US-122, the US-122L, or US-122MKII?

[RDD] ASI4215

2015-02-12 Thread Jim Hartranft
Hi!

I just received a couple ASI4215s from a large station cluster (a. because
the cards are old, and b. because they are upgrading to Wheatnet IP). I am
trying to get the driver to compile, however some places I read that this
card will not work with RD. I am using ver. 2.10.2. When I untar the
package and apply the patches everything is fine, even after ./configure.
However, when doing the make process, it will not let me continue, even as
root. I says something about no target specified, and no make file found.

I would love to get at least one card in the playout machine, simply because
of four stereo streams, instead of a single stream from my onboard
soundcard. Help is much appreciated,

jh

I used this guide a couple of years ago on a CentOS 6 installation:

It was not easy to get to work, but it's a fine USB mixer when I got it to
work

Re: [RDD] Can rdCatch watch RSS feeds?

2015-02-12 Thread Brad Hambleton
Hello,

I use gPodder to monitor several RSS feeds and download any new audio, and a
command line rdimport running in dropbox mode to ingest any audio that comes
down.

Cheers!

 Hello-

Does anyone know if rdCatch can be set up to watch RSS feeds? We are a

We'd love to be able to automate the download of these shows. If anyone knows
how to use rdCatch or any other application to automate this, please let me
 know!

 Many thanks!

Sorry, but these cards were end-of-lifed by ASI years ago (due to hardware
incompatibilities with modern BIOSes). They are not supported in any the
current ASI HPI drivers.

Cheers!

[RDD] RDCatch Username?

2015-02-12 Thread Larry Ewing
I have a new installation of Rivendell 2.10.2 on Centos 6.6 on a new
computer with the database transferred from my current operating Rivendell
box. RDCatch is requiring a username for downloading files from the amb-ux
folder and from my Windows production machine. It has no problem downloading
from ftp sites over the internet. My current Rivendell box has always
grayed out the username and password for catching files locally. I also have
a new install of Rivendell 2.10.2 on a client workstation that has nothing
in it's database yet and it behaves the same way. I have tried to use
various usernames that I thought should have worked but no success. Is this
a bug or a feature?

[RDD] midnight issues

2015-02-12 Thread Warren Mead

After 3 or 4 years of perfect trouble free midnight log loading, the
station is now having problems on a regular basis.

Not sure what has changed - the clock is certainly the same, with an
over filled hour and a short song timed to start at 11.58.40

This morning I got up to listen and this is what happened:

12.01 song ends normally, followed by the usual 3 seconds of log
loading silence, then a brief burst of the hours first event (a weather
credit) followed by silence due to RDAirplay crashing.

Thought I had this sussed, but obviously not ... any thoughts?
