Re: [RDD] Troubleshooting rdadmin, etc
Hi, Both errors you mention are red herrings. The default rdadmin user and password is admin with no password at all just hit enter. rdimport not running is some sort of check it does for drop boxes (which uses the rdimport binary). The fact that its not running simply means there are no drop boxes running at that time (I can't remember if it says the same even if you do have drop boxes). QSQL is also a spammy error that pops up all the time, don't pay any attention to that. Everything seems to be installed with the Tryphon repositories, but I can't successfully start rdadmin. It will connect, ask for a root password, and create the database -- but no luck beyond that. It complains about rdimport not being running, and closes. Any time that I open it after that complaint, I enter the user/password combo, and it says failed login, with the errors: QSqlQuery: not positioned on a valid record, and crashes. Re: [RDD] Has anyone tried the Juli@ XTe is the PCIe audio card yet?
Not sure if your question is related about the PCIe model or Julia in general as an audio card. We use PCI (non Express, but they should share same audio chipset) with Rivendell using straight ALSA and does its job pretty well. Anyway at first we got confused because you couldn't use digital output separately from analog (if you do you will lose control on the analog layer, but if needed you can route the analog-out or the analog-input). Basically it's 1 stereo IN, 1 stereo OUT, you choose which one. [RDD] OP-X Audio Files
Just wanted to ask the folks who use Rivendell the most. Has anyone found an easy way to get the song title and artist information from OP-X files. They are wav files with no sort of data attached to the files. However, I might have missed another way to export. Has anyone else made the transition from Op-X to Rivendell without renaming each file? [RDD] rdcatch and podcasts
I am trying to figure out how to make rdcatch download RSS podcasts. Any ideas? When we have a proper url, it's easy. The generated urls in some of the podcasts look like random numbers. al. ___ Rivendell-dev mailing list Rivendell-dev@lists.rivendellaudio.org http://caspian.paravelsystems.com/mailman/listinfo/rivendell-dev
