2022-02-24 Thread Steve

Is the reference operating system for Rivendell still CentOS-something
or is Debian a solid option?

Re: [RDD] RDAirplay Crash - Double Free Corruption

2022-02-24 Thread Geoff Barkman
The only time I ever had crashes is when I overfilled the logs. With a few
hours of spare music. Running rivendell 2.10.3 on ubuntu 14.04.
Many thanks Geoff Barkman

And you really should upgrade them all. Fred shouldn't have to support
much older versions. It's just not realistic.

It's ancient, but I run it on at least half a dozen stations, and have
never encountered any crashes at log-loading time.

Re: [RDD] Streaming with Rivendell

2022-02-24 Thread Rob Landry

I have Rivendell running with JACK and liquidsoap -- not butt -- on a
couple machines, and one does feed Live365. The Jack settings are:

JACK Server Name: (default)
JACK Command Line: jackd -R -d dummy -r 48000
Active Audio Ports: 8
JACK Clients to Start:
  Client: liquidsoap
  Command Line: liquidsoap /home/rd/rivendell_icecast.liq
