I second this, please keep the unthemed mode available as an option. Turning off the thorn theme has long been the first thing i do in rosegarden when i set up a new system. Adding my canonical, unsolicited $0.02 ... Merge works. But what, IMO, is *really* needed is the ability to open multiple files (documents) simultaneously and cut/copy/paste tracks, segments, and selections between them. I fully understand the amount of work that would be required to implement this. Not a new idea -- see Feature Request #228, originally filed in 2005. I just tried this again to be able to give you more information and it worked
perfectly! I must admit it's been a long time since I last tried, and the
original files are very old. 2006 old in fact!

[Rosegarden-user] effects plugins
Can anyone suggest where I might find good vst effects plugins for rosegarden and how they should be added to the standard set? I am particularly interested in reverb. Some time ago I managed to add a vocoder plugin but I can't for the life of me remember how I did it or how I found out how to do it 😅 The rosegarden manual could maybe use a bit more info on this? AFIK the 'X11' files merge might not be working these days (but have no files to test again). Otherwise it should work from the File > Merge > Merge File(s) menu. Hope this helps.
