As pkgdb admin I got your request but I got this message [1] anyway I think
will not create branches in https://pkgs.rpmfusion.org/cgit/ ...

Should / may I approve this ? or other way to put the question, what is the
correct procedure ?

Cheers,

[1]
Updating the status of a request does not process the request. The proper way
to process requests is via the pkgdb-admin CLI tool.

OK , I'm also waiting for fixes of 2 issues [1] and [2]

[2]
About "debugsource" package and repo layout
Definitely you are right and those should be there, check:

Unfortunately, I think those fixes are still not deployed..

[Bug 4628] Review request: chromium-freeworld - A WebKit (Blink) powered web browser

2017-08-24 Thread RPM Fusion Bugzilla

(In reply to Nicolas Chauvet from comment #3)
> I don't understand why the chromium-freeworld package still drop a
> chromium-libs-media-freeworld sub-package ?! What the point ?

The idea is that there are
chromium-libs-media-freeworld and chromium-libs-media that can be freely
exchanged:

$ rpm -qa | grep chromium
chromium-libs-media-freeworld-60.0.3112.101-1.fc26.x86_64
chromium-common-60.0.3112.101-1.fc26.x86_64
chromium-libs-60.0.3112.101-1.fc26.x86_64
chromium-60.0.3112.101-1.fc26.x86_64

$ dnf install chromium-libs-media
...
Installed:
  chromium-libs-media.x86_64 60.0.3112.101-1.fc26

$ dnf remove chromium-libs-media-freeworld
...
Removed:
  chromium-libs-media-freeworld.x86_64 60.0.3112.101-1.fc26

$ rpm -qa | grep chromium
chromium-common-60.0.3112.101-1.fc26.x86_64
chromium-libs-60.0.3112.101-1.fc26.x86_64
chromium-libs-media-60.0.3112.101-1.fc26.x86_64
chromium-60.0.3112.101-1.fc26.x86_64

...

I believe that's the point. What's wrong with that?

No idea, how are you installing?

How are you installing? I can install just fine.

This will eventually get scripted.

I'm closing this bug as I'm the reporter and don't plan to work on this.
(there are way better tools for video edition than cinelerra).

@sergio
If you want this package (either CV/GG or else), please open a separate review.
Also please don't use bugzilla as your future tasks list. This is very annoying
for others.

The package module was created for this bug but the package was not ever built.
Please escalate to me if you miss anything to import the package.

BTW, you need to + the fedora-review flag, so I can import the package in
pkgdb.

Thx for your review.

The obsoletes not provided is not an issue for epel given no -wayland
sub-package was ever redistributed. So the -wayland cannot be provided either.

I've fixed the others issue in the version in master.
But I need to import the exactly same version as in EPEL7 for compatibility.
(as we are building only the i686 package here).

For some reason, trying to install the scratch build has installed
chromium-libs-media-59.0.3071.104-1.fc26.x86_64 (from the base repo). Why ?
I've chromium-59.0.3071.104-1.fc26.x86_64 installed because of the previous
dependency breakage.

Also, when installing , the freeworld packages complained about
/usr/lib64/chromium-browser/libffmpeg.so not a symlink (so the alternatives are
not created).

Seems like a version check is needed somewhere.
But then this strict dependency check is annoying because it will means
breakage when the fedora package is not updated along the rpmfusion one.

I don't understand why the chromium-freeworld package still drop a

Re: Mass rebuild and mass branch for f27 ?

> Hello,

> So we need some coordination , (Nicolas) what is the plan ?
Thx for rising the topic.
The plan is to do the mass rebuild ASAP indeed.

But the issue I'm facing is that there are way too much random errors
currently when trying to download packages from fedora repository for
the buildroot.
Here are the expected fixes:
- Rework the proxies cache (squid) from the builders to the mirrors
(I'm working on this one in the infra side, it should be live by this
week-end)
- Have a better detection of a koji external repo update, and refresh
the repo only when needed. (See also
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3024).
That task can be picked by anyone, but requires some koji understanding.
- Let the repos to settle in the fedora side. For example, I think
this kind of error might be related to something yet undetermined on
the fedora side:
http://koji.rpmfusion.org/kojifiles/work/tasks/7518/157518/root.log
DEBUG util.py:439:Curl error (28): Timeout was reached for
http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/updates/26/x86_64/s/selinux-policy-targeted-3.13.1-260.4.fc26.noarch.rpm
[Operation too slow. Less than 1000 bytes/sec transferred the last 120
seconds]

There is also an issue with current python2-rpkg in f26 that need to
be downgraded. We need to rebase rfpkg to current fedpkg to avoid any
breakage.
Anyone to pick this task ? (meld is your friend to compare both code).

> [1]
Thx for handling this.

> [2]
> g_both_so_versions_of_x264_and_ffmpeg
We are not bumping ffmpeg/x264, so this is not relevant here. We can
avoid rebuild ordering.

> [3]
> https://pagure.io/releng/blob/master/f/scripts/find_failures.py
I'm using these ones for the mass rebuilt (altought a patched one that
has others relevant exceptions).
I will try to publish the rebased script.
