release 9 .

that there are many pieces that need to be
accomplished.

FWIW, I have been (slowly) opening Fedora
EPEL9 branch and build requests for the
packages of interest to me in RPMFusion that
have (what will be) EPEL9 packages as build
requirements, to try to minimize the future
delays (the slowly part is to sometimes also
run down the BR dependency chains so that
others can start their works in parallel).
