Depends on how 3.8.10 is installed. If instance is separated from perl @INC then it's easier. Does anyone know if the deps for 4.0.5 will screw up a running 3.8.10 instance? Just did exactly this for our rt4 upgrade -- had it in parallel with 3.8.x for quite some time before we pulled the trigger. Disk is cheap :). Mark -- Mark D.
