Hi Matthias, I would guess that it might be the max packet size in your my.ini - look for the setting in the [mysqldump] section, and make sure it's suitably large. If you have fields larger than this value then it will truncate the field when exporting. I'm not sure if there's a corresponding setting in pg that you will need to tweak.
