Required Experience

1. Minimum of4 years Oracle ODI experience.

2. 8+ years overall experience in Data Integration, Data Architecture, Data

4. Implementation of ODI interfaces and scenarios for extracting and loading 
data from a variety of data sources/targets including, Relational Database 
Management servers (including Oracle RDBMS, flat files (including CSV, Excel, & 
XML file formats), and web services (SOAP, WS-I Security).

5. Experience with Set up, configuring and administration of ODI according to 
requirements.

6. BI knowledge a requirement 5 years in BI from ETL perspective.

7. Design experience of the detailed ETL architecture, including agents, 
scenarios, packages, data mapping, data extractions, transformations and 
validations. This ETL design and implementation should include stand-alone and 
Java EE agents, ODI data services, ODI Console, ODI studio, and other 
appropriate development tools.

8. Ability to observe steps and ascertain success of step or failure and root 
cause of step(s).

9. Experience in Master Data Management and Meta Data Management.

10. Experience in Dimensional Modeling.

11. Demonstrated ability to communicate the overall customer data architecture 
to both technical and business constituencies.

12. Creating Interfaces in order to move data from source to target.

13. Assist infrastructure personnel in implementing the ODI migration process 
to migrate the ODI configuration through various development, test, and 
production environments.

14. Develop system /integration test plans and scenarios for data loads and 
extracts.

15. Manage and monitor production and non-production ETL sessions.

16. Mentor and transfer ODI technical knowledge and processes to other team and 
department personnel, as requested.

Desired Experience

1. Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws (FERPA).

2. Experience in an education environment a plus.

3. Experience with Oracle Exadata is a plus.

Develop automation of software delivery and infrastructure changes using DEVOPS 
tools.

Manage BIG Data via Hadoop protocols and features using HDFS, HIVE, SQOOP

Support scheduled production code deployments.

Key responsibilities

include:

Advise and assist stakeholders in using data analytics tools, techniques for 
SAS modules installed on DAP.

Work with business analysts, development leads, researchers and others to 
analyze business requirements and provide guidance on using SAS tools and SAS 
coding techniques including statistical methodologies, data manipulation and 
predictive modelling methodologies.

Develop solutions including projects, proof of concepts or code snippets.

Create functional design documents, requirements documents, user documentation, 
technical documentation, research papers.

Respond to data requests that require data mining, extraction and query 
optimization services.

Create data dissemination mechanisms/procedures that summarize data in an easy 
to understand display.

Provide knowledge transfer to others.

The selected candidate will, as part of a team, develop solutions including 
data development and predictive/descriptive statistical solutions; provide 
technical support to researchers in use of SAS products on the DAP platform; 
and provide guidance to researchers and developers in using SAS tools and 
methodologies. They will also provide guidance to users in use of SAS clients, 
including eGuide, and clients associated with the products installed on the DAP 
platform.

Responsibilities include working with users to understand and define project 
security, data, and operational requirements.

SAS Application Developers must be proactive self-starters, have excellent 
communication skills, and be effective technical writers.

Individually and/or collectively, the team must have the following

skills:

Proficient in statistical and data analyses using SAS functionality implemented 
on DAP Platform

General knowledge of project management

Required experience:

o SAS tools on the DAP, including eGuide 7.13

o Developing Web Portals using EBI

o Using SAS DI studio and ETL workflows

o Expert use of SQL, experience with relational databases (DB2 and MS

SQL Server)

o Translating business requirements into technical requirements, and

converting to an implementable SAS solution

o Developing functional applications and systems of medium to high

technical complexity

o Architectural design, web development, management and

troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting 
implementations at an Enterprise-scale

Additional preferred experience: Knowledge of 508 accessibility standards; Use 
of VISIO and other planning tools; Formal SDLC methodology knowledge and use; 
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math or related

Here is the job description:

Environment setup (particularly around web app and services. So experience with 
Web apps, Azure functions, Sql as a Service and Cosmos DB)

CI/CD Pipeline setup (We use VSTS for builds and deployments)

Auditing Existing resources (this is mostly a social vs technical task. As long 
as they know how to delete or resize resources in Azure we should be OK.

Globally redundant environments (setup the infrastructure to make our single 
instance applications work across datacenters (either for availability or 
global performance or disaster recovery) for applications already in production

Monitoring (monitoring performance, usage and uptime of resources - again 
usually web apps, functions or database - sometimes VMs). We have nothing set 
up for this, so having done that before would be great

Updating SSL Certs used on Apps (This is pretty basic and would just be knowing 
how to setup domain names and certificates on web apps

Infrastructure as code (not something we do now, but we want to get there. 
However, I couldn't really tell someone how to do it, so they would need to 
know. Powershell experience is important)

Docker (especially Azure Kubernetes Service
