Business Data Analyst 

Engagement Duration and Timing: We're looking to source this as soon as we
can this year but may have flexibility to shift a little bit to Jan-Feb
timeframe. We're going to need the person for at least 8 weeks and may
extend depending on the need. 

Engagement Description 
The Client manufacturing plant in Branchburg, NJ needs to significantly
improve its Planning reporting and analytical capabilities. The Planning
Analytics group is responsible for producing reports and metrics (both
automated and ad hoc) that drive decisions by manufacturing and plant
leadership. This Data Analyst will create new reporting pipelines and
enhance existing ones to automate manual tasks and meet pressing business
priorities. This person will monitor existing data pipelines to ensure
successful execution, troubleshoot issues, and enhance these pipelines
(including their software architecture) to make them more reliable and
easier to manage. This person will be analyzing data and business processes
and implementing automation and analytics to drive improved business
performance. 

This Business Data Analyst will create and modify reports and analytics in
Excel, MS Access, SQL, and PowerBI. Data sources is the Client SAP ERP
system, text files, Excel spreadsheets, or Access databases. They will
automate processes by programming in VBA in a Windows environment. Expertise
in all these technologies is not needed, as training will be provided.
Attributes of a successful candidate include attention to detail,
independent learning, the ability to communicate with technical and
non-technical business partners, and the delivery of reliable and creative
solutions. 

Qualifications 
1. Skills analyzing and manipulating data, especially Microsoft Excel. 
2. Programming in VBA, or experience manipulating data and automating
processes using other technologies. 
1. Nice to have - hands-on ability to use and automate the following
platforms/technologies: 
a. Microsoft Access 
b. SQL 
c. SAP 
d. Python (e.g.Selenium) 
e. Blue Prism

Team Description 

The Client manufacturing plant in Branchburg NJ produces implantable tissue
mesh which is used in breast reconstruction and hernia repair. The Planning
team at the Branchburg plant sets production targets and ensures proper
inventory levels of finished goods and associated work in process. We create
production schedules and set priorities for manufacturing and quality, using
analytical models driven by demand, inventory, and lead times. We are a key
supplier of plant performance metrics, including attainment of production
targets and on-time completion of required manufacturing activities. 

Planning has an Analytics group which produces automated reports and metrics
that drive decisions by manufacturing and plant leadership. The Analytics
group is a center of excellence within the Branchburg plant for data
automation, analytics, and system knowledge. We use sophisticated methods
and deep business knowledge to build data and analytical pipelines which
