[RollTideFan] Tide romps in exhibition opener
Athletes In Action entered tonight’s exhibition with a perfect 2-0 record on the “season”… Alabama was playing their first of two exhibition games. So what did the Tide do? “We shot the ball well,” said Mark Gottfried. “We’ve got some guys that can really shoot the ball.” Alabama outrebounded AIA 51-23 on the night, in rout to a rout, 103-77. Bama completes exhibition play next Thursday night against EA Sports. The 26th ranked Tide opens the regular season against Mississippi Valley State, in the opening round of the Inaugural Guardian’s Classic, on Nov. 13, in Tuscaloosa.
