[Huh? Are you talking about 'Prep-School', or JC?]

Junior college.

[Hard to imagine a guy being interchangeable at FB/DB. But, hey! I won't
argue with you.]

He's not interchangeable. But, he's built such that he could easily "grow
into" playing fullback. Plus, we're going to need a fullback next year,
so...

And, it's still possible that he could end up at DB.

All JMO, of course...for the record. :-) But, I promise I didn't make any
of it up. :-)

I won't ask you to tell us why. I'll just assume it's due to grades, or lack
thereof.

Great kid, bad grade situation, tremendous athlete. Just read that article.
:-) I've seen him in person a lot...he's special.

Dupree will be a fullback next year...or a DB. (I'd peg it at 80% chance of

Marvin Brown will not be with the team next year.

Darby is going to be great--but there exists a chance (about 25% or so right

2001-12-04 Thread Jeff Todd

Whoo-Hoo!

First, Kenneth Darby, now Chauncey Malone!?!?!

One couldn't help but notice that Malone isn't qualified. Obviously, that is
not a *good* thing. I'm quite certain that Coach Fran said early on that he
wouldn't be wasting time on recruits that weren't academically eligible.

At any rate, the future of the BAMA backfield appears to be extremely
promising. Galloway has another year left. Beered (hopefully) has two years
remaining. Then we've got Marquez Dupree waiting in the wings, as well as
the transfer from .somewhere in Texas...Shaud Williams? And one of
these days Ray Hudson is going make a name for himSlef. Donnie Lowe is *THE
MAN* at FB. Marvin Brown gives us depth at FB. (Word to Marvin: Hang on to
the damn ball!)

And then there's the incoming Freshmen, previously mentioned.

Whoo-Damn-Hoo! My boyz are gonna *ROCK*!
