I used to always look forward to the end of Daylight Savings Time. It was one night I got an extra hour to guzzle breers!! I'd be lying if I said I don't think about it more than a little bit. Today I was in Sam's and saw mucho cases of Rolling Rock. It put me in a momentary trance. I could smell it, taste it, feel the cold bottle in my hand! I could've stood there and drank the whole case...HOT! Or, so I thought. Then the sensations started all over again. I could smell it on my breath, taste it when I woke up, see the empties piled up in the garbage can, felt the sting of stepping on a cap I'd dropped in the floor (or did I bounce it off a wall?), feel the unbearable pulsations in my head as I searched to see if I'd left one sitting around anywhere that might ease the pain. Then I came back to reality and went looking for the prune juice. Probably. But to be very honest, I don't think about the drink that much any more and I certainly don't miss it. I've come to the conclusion I can live the rest of my life just fine without it.
