So as there are sime time pressure I've not managed to prepare more
comfortable
release - so for this moment at least this:

kernel patch for 2.4.19-pre8
http://decibel.fi.muni.cz/phantom/rtl/patch_rtl_2.4.19-pre8.gz

and this is the slightly modified rtlinux-3.1 release:

http://decibel.fi.muni.cz/phantom/rtl/rtlinux-3.1w.tgz

I'd like to release just diff - but so far there is no time to clean
this

Also there are no GPL mambo jumbo headers so it will give few warnings

If anyone will see any problems - let me know.
I hope there will be some more time next to clean this a bit more.

Are there some linux kernel experts I may share some problems I have for
now?
(preferable in personal emails)

[rtl]: OT: scams

2002-05-24 Thread Pablo Alvarez

I suspect the RTL list will be happy to know that three people have been
arrested for the "Nigerian scam" (spam?) that we suffered a few weeks ago.
Let's hope they arrest these copycats soon too!

(The downside is that the arrest was possible because way too many people
bought into the scam...)

Lets get 2.4.16 2.4.18 clean maby we can get the 2.4.19preX SMP stuff into
2.4.18 so that 2.4.18 would be more or less complete for RTLinux/GPL-3.2
maby Zdenek Kabelac could comment on his work with 2.4.19 and if he would
move it to 2.4.18 aswell ??

I'm working at 2.2.21 and 2.5.10 at the moment - changes to 2.5.X are drastic
due to the preemtive kernel, 2.2.20/21 is no big deal. If anybody has
time/interest in working on moving the ARM port up to 2.4.18-rtl3.1
and/or 2.5.X that also would be great.

But to>give you any resonable hint a bit more info on this hardware would

I think in PCI configuarion registers, there is
just only one IRQ Line.
You idea sounds interesting. If there are two, I want to know how to make
the port related with Irq. In normal linux, it seems that you can have
more
parameter in the ISR.( I need to study it
later)

BTW, I am confused with one thing. In my
drvier, if I use

pci_read_config_byte(dev,PCI_INTERRUPT_LINE,&irq)
then the irq = 5, but if I use   irq = dev->irq, then I get
16.
It is so confused. At first I think 5 is the right one, but if I use
5,
then NONE ISR is triggered. if I use later, anything is
OK.
I still don't know the reason.

[rtl] GREETINGS/Come to my aid

2002-05-24 Thread Remond Seko Mobutu

Dear Friend,

I am the first son of the late Mobutu Sese Seko, the
former President of the Congo Republic. I am presently
under protective custody in Nigeria as a political
refugee. I got your contact during
my search for a stranger that can cooperate with me in
this mutual transaction. I want you to note that this
business will benefit both of us. However, you must confirm your
ability to handle this because it involves a large
amount of money. The money (50 million US DOLLARS is
my share of my father's estate. I boxed and shipped the
money to a security company abroad at the peak of the
war/political crisis that rocked my country few years
ago. Now the crisis has ended and I need a
trustworthy person like you to proceed to the place of the
security company in order to clear the fund and invest
on my behalf as I dont want my name to be used for
now.
Note that I will send to you the relevant documents
that will enable you take possesion of the the fund
for onward investment for our mutual benefit. All I
need from you is as follows:
1. A letter of committment (duely signed) that you
will keep the transaction strictly confidential.
2. Your confirmation of your ability to handle this.
3. Your IDt or driving licence
number for identification to the security company.
4. Your telephone and fax numbers for communication.
5. Your full permanent address.
As soon as I get the above information from you, I
will disclose to you the name and the country of the
security company. I will forward your name and
particulars to the security company to enable them
contact you accordingly. I will also send to you a
LETTER OF AUTHORITY to enable you clear the fund on
my behalf. Note that this is a very safe transaction
as this money is my share of my father's estate.
I am waiting for your response to enable us proceed.

Regards,

Mr. Remond Seko Mobutu
