[Rails] EOTS v0.0.2 allows HTML in labels and captions

EOTS (Email Of The Species), the Ruby on Rails gem for easily
declaring your email types and their fields, is now at version 0.0.2,
and now allows HTML in labels and captions. (Just be aware, these
should therefore be hardcoded in an initializer, never using stored
user input!) Rubygems info is athttps://rubygems.org/gems/eots , code
is athttps://github.com/davearonson/eots , and a site that uses it
(mine) athttp://www.Codosaur.us (but please don't send me emails just

Even when you switch it to one arg? I don't see how that's possible

Please quote the previous message when replying, otherwise it is
difficult to follow the thread, this is a mailing list not a forum
(though you may be using it via a forum like interface). Thanks.

Does the error disappear if you remove that line entirely? What if
you move it to a completely different part of the view? What happens
if you call video_tag with no parameters at all? What if you put a
different helper such as field_tag in that line instead.

Does the error only appear if you include the gem sprockets_better_errors?

Which versions of ruby and rails are you using?

That is a bit odd as video_tag should accept two args. That sort of
issue may mean that the error is not actually where it seems to be.
Try fiddling with the video_tag line to get some clues. Take it out,
change it to just one arg, and so on find out what the real problem
is.

Can you be a bit more explicit in what you are looking for? Is the
user allowed to enter data on multiple tabs and then submit it? If so
then I don't see how it would be possible to have different actions.
If there is a button on each tab then you can send each button to a
different action, but then what happens if he changes data on one tab
and then switches tabs.

If all you are worried about is that the edit action is becoming too
long then just refactor it and call private methods of the controller
to do the sub-actions dependant on what data has changed or even
better, wherever possible, move logic into the model. Every time you
write some code in a controller you should think whether it would be
better to handle it in the model.
