Re: [rules-users] Guvnor: Accessing Bound Variable in Then Statement

2013-06-11 Thread brk2013
Hi Manstis,

I'm working with 5.5.0.Final and currently facing the same issue. I have a
fact declared as Person $person in the LHS and would like to set the
property of another fact Response.employmentCode to bounded field
$person.employmentCode in the RHS. How can this be implemented in
5.5.0.Final?

I would appreciate your help.

Re: [rules-users] Guvnor: Accessing Bound Variable in Then Statement

2012-11-14 Thread msic
Hello,

I've encountered the same issue as described by Vann_the_Red. My GUVNOR
version is 5.4.0-SNAPSHOT.
The problem is that I can't assign defined variable as a value in formula
field in THEN section of my rule. It is due to field mask that allows me
to enter only digits (type of the field is long). When I click on formula,
the textarea containing = appears, but I cannot type in variable name, nor
any character other than digits. Furthermore, if I delete = I cannot
re-enter it.
I'm providing the screenshot of the rule:
http://drools.46999.n3.nabble.com/file/n4020828/guvnor_problem.png
As I said, the type of clientId field is long. I would like to enter there
=cli.id.
I'm kindly asking for help.

 Hello,

Please advise which version of Guvnor you are using.

Please also provide a few explicit examples where behavior is not as you'd
expect (screen shots of the rule and a few words would be cool).

 Thanks,

 Mike
