The installation of database_gap has been recommended by the basic installation documents for a long time. Making it standard is a step less to install a functional Sage. Therefore my vote is for the inclusion of database_gap as a standard package. -- Emmanuel Charpentier Le dimanche 18 février 2018 00:01:50 UTC+1, Dima Pasechnik a écrit : > > GAP 4.9 (a release candidate, released 1st Feb) has smallgrps and > transgrps, two GAP packages/libraries which are extremely useful, with > GPL-compatible licenses. Hi Dima, in fact I am very happy that the authors of the SmallGroups library has finally agreed to make it GPL compatible. So, +1 to making database_gap standard. Best regards, Simon Am Sonntag, 18.
