[sage-support] Process interruption
I am trying to go through a list of lists of polynomials and compute a Groebner basis for each one, subject to a time constraint. I tried using something like the example at: http://docs.python.org/lib/node545.html with the signal module, but the alarm didn't seem to interrupt Singular. How can I do a time-limited series of tasks like this? Thanks, M. [sage-support] Re: Can't build SAGE on RHEL4 64bit
Hi Michael, I tried to build 3.0.2 again, which failed. The new zipped log file is posted on my webpage: www.math.umass.edu/~johnston Just to let you know, for this build I MOVED my g77, g95, and gfortran to force the SAGE build to use its own g95. If you do find a way around the build problem please do let me know.
