Is there a document that tells the differences between 4.7, 4.7.1 and 4.7.2? (So far I have only found that line3d doesn't work in 4.7.) Seems to be working on our other server http://dev.math.canterbury.ac.nz/home/pub/20/ I'll ask for ImageMagik on be installed on sage.math too. I have been using the 4.7 notebook as it publishes 3d plots (the 4.7.2 does not), but your remark sent me back to the 4.7.2 notebook and voila - it must have ImageMagik on that service - since I got an animation to work! Really appreciate all the help everyone!. Hi If you're using a Sage Notebook on a server then Image Magik needs to be installed on that server, not on your local Windows machine. Sorry Dan - I know how to click on "download" and then double-click on a "setup.exe" file. I am math, not programming. I have a windows machine. I went here: http://www.imagemagick.org/script/install-source.php#windows. I was completely overwhelmed by the directions.
