By the way, the confirmation email system isn't used now simply because one year ago when we were writing the notebook we implemented the minimum needed for the task at hand, and the confirmation system just wasn't needed. And we never got around to finishing it. It took *days* of hard work by Bobby Moretti (and Yi Qiang) just to implement what's there right now. That has happened in the past since the server sending the email does something that often triggers Spam detection. There is a ticket for the issue already, but I do not remember details at the moment.
