Greetings Experts:
I have recently become a Linux user,
I have attempted to install Sage, my first attempt was a binary tar.gz ,
didn’t get very far with that , this attempt from ( Univ of Washington
mirror) to install a source and
make from terminal showed lots of progress till problems with gcc, i
installed (gcc -v 4.6) from my Synaptic Package Manager...as well as
other lbs,files,
etc as they were reported in
terminal ...my only idea is to install all the gcc versions listed in my
package manager.I like Python, Linuxand am determined to have
SAGE...I have
attached some docs with system and
terminal info.need advice from the Pro's.
