Current 2.10.2 VMware image seems to have SCSI virtual disk type. This causes problems with other VM software, such as VirtualBox that supports only IDE images. As it doesn't really matter which drive type is used in VM, a little change in VMware images to use IDE allows to expose these images to a greater base of users.
