July, 10, Saligao News; -Government to lay underground power cables at Saligao. The Bardez coastal belt, including Calangute and Saligao, would be given priority in the laying of underground power cables in view of the frequent power disruptions here due to the constant falling of tree-branches causing overhead power lines to snap. The assurances came from the state Government in response to the separate private members resolution by the Saligao MLA Dr. Wilfred de Souza( Courtesy Navhind Times) -The Faces of Goan football fans captured during Euro finals between Portugal and Greece by journalist Francis X.
