Hey! Mine converts both ways too!

What files does it fail on, Andrew?

A couple of old source files which I had dug out because they might be
of general interest; the source to MNEMOcompress v2, and the source to
the music player which goes with my compiler of ProTracker2 files.

I plan to put both up on my web site in the next few days, but I wanted
to check that pyz80 would assemble them properly.

Thanks to Adrian and Edwin for your converters; I have a Mac rather
than a PC, but I did get the opportunity to use a friend's PC for a few
minutes today so I had a go at converting the files. I tried Adrian's
first because he replied first, and it seems to have done the job just
fine.

And did they uncover any more pyz80 bugs? Well, yes, because I had
forgotten it was possible to do this sort of thing: CP z

Another update soon...

Cheers,

Andrew

 For PC too ?

Nah, runs on the SAM itself. But it converts to and from ASCII and COMET
formats, with your own choice of line terminator.

Then, technically, it runs on a PC too, since Sam runs on a PC. :-))

Ah! good then I knew you did a SAM version But if you did a PC one then
mine's
wasn't really needed :-)

Heres v1.2 that can cope with multiple sources and longfiles for output
files.

Format Vol 10 No 10 [1-32].pdf sample pdf issue

2005-01-14 Thread MorriganCP

Hi
all,

Format Vol 10 No 10
[1-32].pdf sample pdf issue has been upload to

ftp://ftp.nvg.ntnu.no/pub/sam-coupe/

Frode will move it
to the Docs as its in the incoming at the moment I think.

The [1-32] = number
of pages.

best to get A-Reader
version 7 to read it, you can search the text, copy paste.
Some of the headings
are as a graphic scan . The new software I have been testing looks at its up to
the job

So What do you
think? Do you want more?

Is it because of my Reader vs 6 or generell? There are some faults in
the listing on page 13.
However, a very well done job, Steve.

I have actually created a new directory: ./magazines/format
and put it there.

The [1-32] = number of pages.

Not sure if this is interesting information...? :)

I'm using 5.0.9 for Solaris.

Just a few questions:

- Page 2 - is it supposed to be like that?
- Page 10 - a few artifacts on the left-hand column?
- Page 11 - line 25 on the right-hand column?
- Page 13 - some artifacts on the right-hand side?
- Page 16 - not the same font for line numbers

But these are minor issues. It brought back the 'old days.

So What do you think? Do you want more?

Yes! Excellent stuff!

Yes. It was a mad idea of mine to have a landscape advert.

Almost brought a tear to my eyes.

I would say yes do more. If you have time, are able etc.
I'm sure we can all proof read them and get the few errors fixed.
