I used Logic Express, which is sold by Apple (they bought eMagic a couple of years ago) and is now their middle-of-the-road audio sequencer, above GarageBand. If you were running a studio you'd probably pay twice as much and get Logic Pro, but actually I'm very impressed with the features you get at this price. http://www.apple.com/logicexpress/ Cheers, Andrew -- --- Andrew Collier http://www.intensity.org.uk/ --- -- Have you lost your Marbles? http://www.marillion.com/

Hi Frode, no problem if you want to host them on NVG. NVG
Hi. Dan and myself have updated NVG again slightly. This time I have reorganised (and updated with new entries) the docs directory. I have also added a PR directory with the SAM Coupé Hot-Line (curtesy Ian Spencer) and the two MGT brochures. One in it's original as zipped jpg-files, but I rescanned and OCR-ed the A4 one and made a PDF. Dan has also contributed some new files just recently, notably in: ./emulation/sound/songs ./disks/magazines/Flex Regards, -Frode -- ^ Frode Tennebø | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ^ | Ericsson AS | Isebakkeveien 49 | | N-1788 Halden | Phone: +47 45 24 99 39| | with Standard.Disclaimer; use Standard.Disclaimer;|
Re: Fuxoft music
Would have to say Master of Magic. Some of the effects are excellent. If any has FruityLoops, the feud.flp is the entire Feud.mp3 track so you can see how it was constructed and the synth setup. Very interesting indeed. They still have that classic SAM feel ;-) Tuesday, April 5, 2005, 7:28:29 PM, you wrote: Aley All Fuxoft music lovers, go there: Aley http://www.fuxoft.cz/tmp/dl/mp3/remixes/ Aley There are some new remixes of traditional chip tunes, all done by Frantisek Aley Fuka/Fuxoft. I've just listened to the original SID version using sidplay. Some of the instruments make my ears bleed. Sure, the SAM's sound may be more simplistic, but I feel it works better, mainly because 'beepy' music doesn't seem quite so painful. The bass (well, not really bass, but I'm not sure what you call it...) sound in the original is the only thing I really prefer, come to think of it. Oh, and the 'swoosh' effect is great, too. The thing I've always noticed about SID music is that the sounds are great, but they don't seem to be controlled too well. :-( -- Stuart Brady
