Of course no one can argue that if it was done years ago it would have been better, but we can't change the clock to go back. >From my point of the view the interest is there, from old Sam users, people returning to the Sam and especially from 'new' Sam users - those who've picked up machines on ebay or from myself. With a couple of coders interested too and a lot of ideas being kicked around i'm fairly confident there'll be a few pieces of new software fairly soon that will have been written to use it's speed, instead of just relying on it to speed up old software. You're right - the SAM version of Escape... was not all that good. Problem was, I had the Amiga version which was a near-perfect 2-player arcade game at that time, so it made it look worse than it really was!
