[Samba] Samba v3 errors

I am having issues running Samba v3 after the install.  When I try
and run the swat, smbd, or rmbd, I get the following errors:

exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program ./smbd because of the following
errors:

0509-150   Dependent module
/usr/lib/libiconv.a(libiconv.so.2) could not be loaded.

0509-152   Member libiconv.so.2 is not found in archive

 

Is there a way to resolve this?  Also, there was not any samba
directories created.

[Samba] installing samba

I have installed Samba 3.0.0 for AIX 5.1.  I have several other
systems in the company that have a lower level installed.  I am
wanting to use the same data in the smb.conf from another system,
but I cannot find that file in the 3.0.0 version.  Where is/should
this be located?  I have looked in the /etc and /usr/local and a
samba directory does not exist.
