[Samba] password change from win95 client doesn't work

2003-11-27 Thread David Weilers
Hi All,

I've got a Samba client that runs Windows 95 (way old, i know). Logging
onto the domain rocks! However, changing the domain password using the
control panel results in an error (translated from dutch): Access to
the network has been denied

What is wrong?

[Samba] problem getting windows 95/98 to logon

2003-11-24 Thread David Weilers
Hi,

I have installed Samba 3.0 the other day, and it works great on my XP
machines. However, Windows 95 and 98 machines display an error when
trying to authenticate at the samba domain.

In dutch the error says: Ongeldige parameter which translates (if i am
not mistaken) to Illegal parameter.

Does anyone know anything about this problem?

Thanks already!
