[Samba] Samba 3.0.20b running in Debian Server
Hi guys, i have problem with the Samba version 3.0.20b running in Debian 3.1Sarge Server, my users make files and directory but dont change the directorys and files. My smb.conf file is: [global] wins support=yes os level=65 local master=true preferred master=true domain master=true encrypt passwords = true security = user netbios name = SERVER netbios aliases = Servidor LinuxServer workgroup = Workgroup time server= true log level = 3 veto files = /*.mp3/*.divx/*.eml/*.avi/*.pif/*.mpeg/*.mpg/*.bak # Share == ## # Desenvolvimento PHP Web ## [WebDeveloper] comment = Desenvolvimento Web path=/var/www/phpdeveloper/ valid users = @web read list = @web write list = @web #force group = @web read only = no create mask = 0774 directory mask = 0775 writable = yes The directorys and shared volume have the permission OS OK, setting for 775. Please i need help ! [Samba] Problems with Samba 3.0.20b and OS X 10.4.3 Clients
Hi, i have the Samba Server 3.0.20b running Debian 3.1 Sarge and clients with Mac Os X 10.4.3, after update to 10.4.3 version while the clients copy via Finder to Samba volume, after copy the files hide in directory. The others clients running Mac Os X 10.4.3, dont see the files but the Linux Workstations and Windows Workstaions dont present problems. Please some idea for the problem. [Samba] Tiger 10.4.2 problems with connection to Samba Server
Hi, my name is Andre Jaccon network managament of PC Magazine/BR, i need 10 workstations running OS X 10.4 and my server is powered by Debian Sarge 3.1running Samba 3.0.14a, after update the workstations to version OS X 10.4.2, dont connection to Linux Samba Server. In log files dont write different arguments.
