Hello, I have just installed fedora core 2 hoping I can get away from windows. Everything is going smoothly so far except for samba server. I have it running and I can see the Linux machine in the network places on my windows machine, but when I try to access it through windows network places (duple clicking I get an error message from windows that is something like:
There is a duplicate name on the network. please go to the systems settings and network Id and change the name of the computer. Something to that effect. I have no clue as to why I tired configuring it manual and through the server settings window and I still get the same message..
