After installation Windows XP SP2, have come in domain Samba 2.2.8. After rebooting, at an logon to domain have received a mistake: Windows may not load removed profile. I have applied the registry patch: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\netlogon\ parameters RequireSignOrSeal=dword: Fine add my machine to the domain (Samba 2.2.8-3.0.0). When I reboot machine and login to the domain from a Windows XP Professional SP2 I get the following message: Windows cannon connect to the domain, either because the domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable, or because your computer account was not found. [Samba] Access to the table.
I have a problem of access to one DBF file simultaneously with Borland Pascal 7.0 and Foxpro 2.6. If Pascal has opened a file Foxpro may not open this file. At opening this file several foxpro any problems are not present. In Netware this problem was solved set attribute on a file as shareable. How to solve this problem on Samba 2.2.8-3.0.0? [Samba] Samba and CUPS
hi all I have samba v 2.2.8a and cups v1.1.6 This cups have not cupsaddsmb and i try add printer in samba self. When i run command: smbclient //localhost/print\$ -N -U'root%pswd' -c 'put /var/spool/cups/3f0be8aa8646b W32X86/printer.ppd' recieve subject: ERRDOS - ERRnoaccess (Access denided.) opening remote file \W32X86/printer.ppd But when i add printer in cups this printer visible in samba, but this printer not print when i try printing in Windows I try compiled other version CUPS and SAMBA, but SAMBA not compiled with cups. Why?.I don't understand. I install this version cups and SAMBA - Samba compiled with cups OK, but printer not printing. [Samba] Samba and CUPS
Hi all. I had problem of addition of the printer on a Windows the computer through Samba from CUPS. Problem in that at addition of the printer in CUPS the printer occurs in SAMBA but when I install the printer in WINDOWS and try to print out test page (or something else) that jumps out the message. [Samba] The parameter in a Samba does not work
In the documentation to a Samba parameters Lock spin time and Lock spin count for use of the FoxPro are recommended. At addition of these parameters in a Smb.conf, testing (testparm) informs: the unknown parameter is ignored. At start of a Samba too the message: the unknown parameter is ignored. We use SUSE Linux 7.2 with Samba 2.2.4 (Kernel 2.4.18, XFS file systems) how file-server. On file-server We use FoxPro DBF files. For the file-server connected 40 users, which using DBF files. Working in the FoxPro programs fine, if I conecting with Network by the Administrator Controller Domains. When I connected another users, working in the FoxPro programs so many times. (Open, close and found DDF files doing 2-5 sec.) Why? Tell me please. Iost V.
