Re: [Samba] A regression in 3.0.25rc3?
Jerry, No, the DC is a 64-bit Linux box. The Server 2003 box was required to provide remote users with terminal services. Sorry for posting a confusing message. Did you download my dump file OK? Many thanks, Alex On Mon, 2007-05-14 at 10:17 -0500, Gerald (Jerry) Carter wrote: > -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- > Hash: SHA1 > > Alex Crow wrote: > > Jerry, > > > > Any ideas yet? Jerry, Any ideas yet? I've reverted my Server 2003 box to 32-bit for now, so it's not so pressing to use 3.0.25. Re: [Samba] A regression in 3.0.25rc3?
Jerry, I realised I forgot to restrict the dump to the XP client concerned. I have now replaced the file on the webserver. Jerry, I've attached my smb.conf, you can get the dump file from http://www.nanogherkin.com/smbdump.tcpdump.bz2. The server is x86-64. Jerry, I am running Gentoo kernel 2.6.20-gentoo-r7, glibc 2.5, openldap 2.3.30-r2, all clients are XP Pro SP2 (32 and a couple of 64-bit). Any more info you need just ask. [Samba] A regression in 3.0.25rc3?
Dear Samba team, I have installed the above release of samba and I am seeing the same problem as decribed in this old posting when I try to add permissions to printers: http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2006-July/123177.html Interesting that this was last seen in 3.0.23. 3.0.24 behaves as expected.
