sir i study in an institute where the PC's have either Win 2000/NT RedHat 7.2 . I have been trying to set my PC such that can be mounted / accessed from every other PC in the lab but am unable to do so. I am also unable to share my files over the network. I read the 'smb.conf' file and did required changes . When i access this PC from other PC's , it comes to connecting menu but does not accept any passwd. Moreover, my PC does NOT have any /etc/samba/smbpasswd file. What do I do ?? Seeking ur help...
