[Samba] RE: Samba installation error
hello Dirk, thanks for the info. Sorry, im new to the Linux World. I just wanted to ask, will the samba2.that comes with my RedHat9.2 installation work for what I want to achieve(to connect my LinuxPC to my Windows PC so that I can exchange files between the two?) - im asking so that I dont uninstall Samba2 and begin to have problems installing the new version. If you just want to share some files, version 2 will fit your needs. So skip the part installing samba and continue with setting it up from the howto.
