Does this also happen, when vscan-mksd is not loaded? If you won't get a smbd crash, then samba-vscan is the culprit. Then, please apply the following patch to samba-vscan sources

(url may be wrapped, so please do cut&paste) and rebuild vscan-mksd by "rm vscan-mksd.so && make mksd && make install".
