[Samba] Vista and "System error 53 has occurred"
Hi, Problem: Out of the blue Vista on my laptop decides it doesn't want to mount a share over PPTP VPN connection. I have been able to do this for a while and now I can't. I can mount the share in the local network but I can't do it over VPN. When trying to access the server, using "net view \\172.16.1.71" it shows the error in the subject. This is a path not found error. NOTE: I have been trying to post this to the list but it's not showing up in my emails. So, forgive me if there are any duplicates of this message on the list. I'm finally resorting to using web mail. I have to believe that it's something on Vista. There could have been an update that caused it. I had read where someone had the problem after an upgrade occurred. I am hoping that one of you gurus has run into this and can give me the magic formula that works. I also hope that I don't get flamed since this is probably not a Samba problem.
