The network path was not found. Supposed it runs under linux: shows smbclient -N -L \\san the share "backup"? Viele Gruesse! [Samba] What is the maximum size for a Samba share?
Hi, I have created a Samba share of a ext3 4.5TB filesystem mounted as /backup. We would like to access this share from some Windows PC's. When we try to map to the share using: net use s: \\san\backup we get the following error: \\san\backup is not accessible. The network path was not found. I've created another share called /backup on the os drive with the same settings, this works fine, so I don't believe that it is the Samba settings or permissions. Is there a maximum size for a Samba share? Many Thanks Paul Hobbs -- To unsubscribe from this list go to the following URL and read the instructions: https://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/samba
