same problem with samba 3.2, I did an upgrade to version 3.3.13-40 and the issue i resolved. Then after Christmas it's showing the trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed and refusing to log in domain users until I removed and rejoined the domain. I'd say the workstation had been a member roughly one month. No other workstation by the same name was ever added to the domain, so that's not it. I'm a bit flabbergasted this happened.
