When I try to change the password of a unix user with passwd when winbind is in my nsswitch.conf I get an error - passwd: Unsupported nsswitch entry for "passwd:". Use "-r repository ". Unexpected failure. Password file/table unchanged. This is a Solaris 9 machine by the way. My nsswitch.conf line looks like this - passwd: files winbind When I take winbind out I can use passwd to change unix user password again. Any ideas?
