Hi, you can use the hosting smb machine as proxy server with squid and make access controls for squid via smb auth mechanism, howto configure the clients to use squid proxy depends deeply to your network layout, there are many ways to rome ! What you can do is use squid proxy server with authentication. Using wbinfo you can authenticate squid users. It works pretty good, plus you can see what the users are doing on the internet.
