This is for my direct client opening for a Project Manager/Business Analyst
- Cambridge, MA. This is a Long-term contract and the rate range is DOE.

*Key Responsibilities
*
As a Project Manager/Business Analyst you will be responsible for managing,
monitoring and coordinating several software releases for one of our
clients. You will provide a single point of contact for releases and keep
the cross-functional launch team on task and target. In this role, you will
work with our Creative Services team, Engineering, Product Management,
Support and QA teams to ensure a smooth and seamless release of client
products to the market.

Generate requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, site
visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business
analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile
conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and abstract up
from low-level information to a general understanding.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers
to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the
following artifacts as needed: Functional requirements (Business
Requirements Document), Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs.
Utilize your experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and
management systems and methodologies required.
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a
thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and
translate them into application and operational requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to
interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and
subject matter experts.
Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external
customers) and the software development team through which requirements
flow.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the
technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance
needs.

*Qualifications
*
BA/BS degree in related field
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of business analysis experience in media or web
development
Good understanding of agile developmental methodology
Ability to write and develop written communications including project plans,
requirements documents and test plans• Ability to monitor project schedules
and timelines to identify and meet critical milestones
Expertise in Excel, Visio, and MS Office Suite
Knowledge of Rally Project Management software
Understanding of XML, RSS, and data modeling
Ability to understand technical subjects and emerging technologies.
Ability to interact with diverse groups of technical and non-technical
people
Effective use of reading, writing, oral communications skills, presentation
techniques, and meeting mechanics
