Location: *Roseland, NJ* Duration: *6 Months* We are really looking for sr. level Java developers who have a strong background with *webservices & EJB3.0.* Our client is currently looking for a strong Java Developer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. It is important that this person have experience with all phases of the software delivery lifecycle; requirements analysis, design, development and unit/integration testing, functional testing support, etc.. They also need to have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and interdependently to resolve complex issues in a timely manner The technical environment includes the following: · Websphere · RAD 7.5 · EJB 3.0 (annotation) · Web Services: RESTfull and JAX-WS · JPA 2.0 and Hibernate · JUnit · Log4j · JSON, JSF, and JSP · ClearCase and ClearQuest · JMS and IBM MQ · Oracle 10g and above with SQL & PL/SQL skills (triggers, stored procedures, views, etc) This person will be responsible for: · Actively participating in the integration and support of complex packaged software solutions. · Analyzing business requirements and providing a technical approach for software configuration and/or customization. · Designing and preparing detailed specifications, configure/build high quality, maintainable software. · Writing a design spec, review, getting it approved, and implementing it in Java. · Performing component/unit testing of software. · Working with other quality, analysis & development team members to resolve issues & defects.
